Genesis does not=Mercedes. For the simple fact that similar quality is at least $20,000 less. Similar, yes, equal, no.

You make a valid point. But these two vehicles compete in two completely different classes. Thats just like saying instead of buying a Lexus GS, I could buy two Camrys instead. While it may be true, you're not exactly comparing apples to apples...

talking about quality, read a little bit more, Hyundai and honda are equal in quality based on JD power, ahhh hyundai at some point surpass honda . just do some research.

I never thought of making the comparison, but I agree. I'd rather have, and feel better about owning, a loaded Accord V6 for the same money as an entry-level Genesis. I'm by no means a Honda fan. It's just the peace of mind with buying a Honda, not to mention the new Accord is similar in size and has all the features I would want. I would trade the Genesis's extra luxury features it has over the Accord for the Accord's better overall quality/reliability.
