... haben sie das Original 1988 noch gerichtlich verbieten lassen, jetzt wird es sogar ganz offiziell für die eigenen Systeme umgesetzt ;-)

This one is pretty... 'old style' for a 2009's game.
Exept for the new hair style (I prefer this one) I think the DS version is better and more 'XXI century style'.

how has this not been realeased yet? I remember hearing about his game coming to the DC ages ago.

At that time a older version of Giana's Return was released, but was full of bugs. The coder of this game was lost and therefore this new version.
