  • wow that was absolutely wonderful!! it's great hearing how completely different the meaning of this version of cocaine is compared to his original version!! i'm sure glad he changed his outlook!!

  • It's changed more since the 2000 tour !

  • the contrast between 89 and 77 is amazing. this is a song of regret and warning, compared to the Running On Empty version.

  • The ceremony of doing coke was as addictive as the drug. Here is the truth..."One line is too many and a million isn't enough".

  • dangerous digital distortion - watch your equipment and hearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is this the same JJ Kale song that Eric Clapton is well known for playing?

  • @BuffMBA

    Really

Everyones priority, including the govt is to provide everything necessary to maximise potential of it children

what else is the point of life, love, religion etc?

  • @STEVEMOR909 - I hear your song. I just played with with a different band. Cocaine, ectstacy, weed and i was lucky i lived through it. Know too many that didnt, the after effects are horrid. But i would do it all over again, cause damn it was a hell of a ride. Todays s%+t is way different and can't imagine what it would be like! Atleast we are still alive, and owe whatever sermons we want to tell. Or none at all it's up to us if we want to make a difference. Peace

  • Uh...Jackson, hate to remind you of this, but the government's JOB is to buy tanks, not to provide lunch to school kids.

  • ... damaged our creativity...oh, no, no, we can't have that Jackson.

So glad you are still alive!

  • I havent touched the stuff now since 2001. It's a seductive, addicting, cunning, powerful drug. It puts you in a whole different world. The contrast of the song speaks exactly how I feel comparing the 70's and today! Cocaine as well as other drugs are something you sure want to say NO too! Today crack is even worse which I experimented with a bit during my 2000 escapades!

  • I use to listen to this song ALL the time in 77 and after as well as the entire Running On Empty album! And I use to snort coke around the clock. I was an off again on again user over the 70's and 80's, OFF after I had exhausted all my financial resources to buy it. I finally went into the hospital and detoxed in 1985 after a bender of doing about an ounce of cocaine! I stayed straight until 2000 and relapsed for a year, spent $50,000, maxed my credit, and developed a heart arithmeia problem

  • a true sentence there my friend
