If the Japanese managed to get the Kitana out of watching the Chinese use the Dao then why didn't they have their own version of the Jian?

@Alesandros356 Obviously a prop in order not to hurt someone on accident. Check out the Cold Steel videos on the chinese war sword and you´ll see the concerns related to that...
