Interview with Lisa Ling, Sister of Laura Ling (Part 1 of 2)

In her first public interview since her sister of now-freed American journalist Laura Ling was set free, her sister, Lisa, says that she is "elated beyond words" that she is back home. "My sister is so happy to be home."

The former co-host of "The View" also adds that Laura doesn't want to be left alone.

Also, Lisa admits that they spent maybe "30 seconds" crossing into North Korea soil before being arrested.

Lisa also responds to criticism by former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton: "The fact of the matter is, Bill Clinton went to North Korea on a humanitarian mission... and that was really it... Bill Clinton was the person they needed to coem and get them, and he was so grateful... If he didn't do it, I know that the girls wouldn't be here right now."

Laura Ling and Eula Lee were rescued on August 4 when former President Bill Clinton went to North Korea and secured a pardon for their release.

Lisa Ling's husband is Korean. Why does it matter if their husbands are white or Asian? They've married the men they love and the men that love them; that's more important than marrying someone with the same ethnicity as you.

Actually I lived in China for 5 years, I am doing a PhD comparing China, Russia, USA and UK's media systems and power structures, and I've published articles on that subject, so I am not just talking out of my ass.

Korean divisiions exist becuase US & USSR/China were using each side as a pawn in the cold war. S Korea was a repressive military dictatorship until the 80's, but because it was US-friendly & -supported they faced no retributions and isolation like N Korea did.

@RoadlessPath 2) Differences in world population is an opportunity to increase "survival of the fittest" and that's a benefit to the human race. I advice you to take a couple biology, history, sociology, etc. classes before you make stupid comments like this again. Yeah, only multiracial and mixed religion marriages end up in divorce...a marriage between two white people are guaranteed success, happiness, and healthy children.

Africans, Asians, Caucasians, and Latinos have differences in ethnicity as well as nationality. You can be Caucasian/white and live in N. America, S. America, Europe, Asia, Australia, or Africa.

@xofalenstarxo I matter because whites have less change that a child out of a asia/white or black/white marriage to be white. & what's wrong with wanting to perserve you our culture, your our race and blood? Love isn't the answer to everything. The fact that mixed race and religion marriage break up sooner says it all. but I don't care about the break up. I want whites on this earth for many centuries to come. But with the mixing, the birth drop etc. whites are now 5% of worldpopulation.

I never said that i supported him i said that i understand his decision to detach his country from the rest of the world and become completely self sustained. The world monetary system is corrupt to the core and has been used to allow industries to control governments and even take over new ones. that is just a vague aspect of what is wrong with capitalism.
