hmmm. my ex insisted that she was friends with all her exes. it did make me uncomfortable, but my parents always told me that nothing is a bigger turn off for women than jealousy.
i dont think my ex(girl) consciously wanted to cheat, but i think she was naive. i think she was oblivious to the fact that when guys get horney to just NEED to blow their load. rational thinking dissapears. its in our biology and in our nature. women dont get that because they are not wired that way, I think.

My partner and me, 9 years, still have this situation, he lives with his ex. I had major problems with this for a few years but had a weird epiphany that I want me own space anyway and realized I do relationships better living apart, plus he only lives 2 miles away and his ex looks like shrek so that helps, but I totally understand why people would say fuck that.

Im in this situation and it sucks. ppl assume it's built in fwb but it kills your dating life mostly...and it's probably going to end soon.

It's understandable that the person will be jealous but personally I could easily see myself living with my ex and it being nothing more then a room mate\friend arrangement. If you need a room mate and you are comfortable living with your ex who you're now just friends with, there shouldn't be a reason for you not to live with them. I don't much like moving in with strangers and am still friends with two people that I have slept with in the past.

You know Dan's right on the money with the notion that the new girlfriend is going to resent the intimacy he has with his roommate. It isn't always about a fear of being cheated on. While this person is living with an ex, she is on the receiving end of all the comfort stuff that that new girl won't be part of.
