@dinosaur4 yea? how often does an highly paid rookie qb start right after getting drafted?at least with whitehurst they have a young guy they can pay a lot less to do the same job. especially with seattle, they dont need to spend a lot of money on qb's when they should be working on their front line.

Whitehurst will fail in Seattle. #1 he sucks and #2 he had more talent around him in Clemson than he does in Seattle.

@seahawk649 Don't get ahead of yourself now, I'm a Seahawks fan but this guy hasn't started an NFL game yet. We don't know how he'll do, but he has some potential. I still think we'll be using our first round pick on Jake Locker or Ryan Mallett in the draft.

I'll take charlie whitehurst over paying some rookie out of this years draft class a shit load of money. charlie is actually pretty good, with help from the new QB coach he'll lead seattle.
