The 20 Practical AR Cartridge is a .223 Rem necked down to 20 cal. It is a perfect cartridge for varmint hunting and general shooting - very accurate and fast! It functions 100% out of an AR-15.

  • Thanks.

  • @fracmeister The .20 Practical rifle couldn't battery with a .223/5.56 NATO round; the bullet wouldn't enter the freebore, nor the case neck enter the chamber neck. No boom, no bang, just a "What the heck, why wouldn't the bolt close?"

  • Looks great. The groups may even get better if you return the rifle to the forend stop every time. The first shot was against it but none of the others. Nice review!!

  • How are you attaching the front? I have a course thread sling swivel and the supplied bolt has a different thread.

  • I like the side charging handle.

  • Great gun. My only concern with an AR15 chambered in .20 is the fact that the 20 tactical (visually) looks almost exactly like .223. I imagine someday someone is going to put a magazine of the standard ammo in one of these babies and boom, there goes a beautiful gun. Then again. That really isn;t my problem is it?

    Sweet varmint rig

  • yeah, great side charging handle.

what caugth my eye was the extended rail on top. who makes that?
