It may be a Springsteen classic but MMEB Does it SOOOOO much better than the Boss ever could ... Also kind of interesting is that MMEB's version from Nightingales and Bombers is the ONLY version that they will play on the radio in my area . I about died laughing the 1st time I heard the original version. People called in asking them to PLEASE DO NOT Play Springsteens version again !

This is completely devoid of the soul of the writer. A lukewarm, lifeless cover. Bruce has written so many songs for others, like "Because The Night" for Patti Smith, who rocks it better than he does. And MMEB does a fine, slickly produced, chart-toppin' cover of "Blinded by the Light." .... Gotta say this leaves me cringing.
