There may not be much love for this outing, wich was really only meant to introduce western gamers tothe RPG genre, but I have always found it to be quite charming, laid back RPG.

Love the music, and the sfx remind me of a NES game, It was indeed, my very first turn based, proper RPG. As such, for soo many criticism on part of people and I very well know that the other Final Fantasy SNES titles where far better, I still love this one.

  • I hate to admit it but I cried a little bit while watching this because of all the good memories. I mean I wasn't born until 1994 but I had 2 older brothers and one of them was about 16 or 17 when I was born. When I was old enough he gave me his snes and a bounch of his games and this was the first one I played and had the most fun with. Sorry for the long message but I just had to let it out <3

  • This game is harder then the first 10hours of FFXIII :/

  • this game ruled.. the first final fantasy game i completed.

  • damn I totally forgot about this game, so long ago. This shit was hard if I remember correctly

  • @xZakiro The EXACT same thing happened to me.

  • I was 12 at that time! If a fat bitch gets me drunk, plays that music and there's that beige somewhere, she'll fuck me like there's no tomorrow!

  • bad quality of FF.

  • Think I was ten at the time, and I had just gotten enough money saved up to buy a Super Nintendo. (Allowance, helping around the house, weird yet responsible kid I was) Parents where proud I had enough sense to actually save and work for what I wanted so one day they come home with a game. A game with a blue knight on the cover and say, "Here son, for your new Super Nintendo."

Before then, I had no idea what an RPG was and now, because of this game, it's my favorite genre.

  • simply amazing, i was so mad my dad bougt this game, i didnt want to play it untill i was very bored and decided ill try it...

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF RPGS!!!

the game i hated so much ended up being in my top3 snes games :')

They dont make these types of games anymore ;(

  • Japan created this specifically for American audience because they believed we didn't have the attention span or brain complicity to handle the original as "they" do to play more difficult Role Playing Games.
