@mwillis1000 First of all, they are almost identical in specifications, but the Mustang had a better record. And I did look at the war, the Russian aircraft were better, but against American and British planes from the 40s! It proves nothing, obviously a well designed fighter with 1960s tech could beat one with 1940s tech. It's like comparing a winchester repeater to a thompson.

@Ninja1275 I'm still skeptical but that makes more sense. And you said they were shot down, not that it was a training exercise. And I'm not surprised, the F15 is still on the lower class of fighter compared to a 5th gen like the F22 of Eurofighter.

@BlindBusDrivr A MOCK dogfight. A training exercise? A Eurofighter took 2 down in a training exercise over the Lake District in England.

In regards to the F-22, it certainly is the most advanced in the world. However, the US asked for a British Eurofighter to go over to the states to compare the two planes in combat tests, believing the F-22 would blow the Euro away. Instead, the F-22 was in fact beaten in a multitude of tests. Something like 8 - 3 to the Eurofighter I believe.

@BlindBusDrivr Two F-15 Eagles were shot down in a mock dog fight with a single British Eurofighter Typhoon over the Lake District in England. The F-22 was also beaten by a Eurofighter in a number of combat tests.
