Had loads of 50`s on pres lines, only one in service, not my 1st choice of loco TBH, but each to their own.
Give me a 66 anyday. Had about loads of 66`s on tours, im a main man when it comes to units, well over a million miles on units, bet not many can beat me on that for bashing?

@MrStapletonRoad I dont remember to much about it now apart from some guy who had to be removed from the train on the way back after having his hand hit by another train traveling the other way whilst "flailing" at 90+! Seems like a lifetime away now!

@formidable38 Sorry to hear about the lad who had his hand trashed, I was 40 bashing on the North Wales coast line in the summer of 79 when a lad recieved serious head injuries due to window hanging through a tunnel. Yuk.
Cheers Dude

Great. Fifties are much under-rated and it's good to see them remembered.
