Almost 5 months

T will be five months on the 27th, but I figured I'd do a quick update. I can't hold him back from the camera -- he's a superstar!

I know exactly how you feel, there are days when I just pass Leyla to daddy and take a shower, it always helps me to feel better. But I know its rough, because it is constant holding/entertaining.. You look GREAT and happy! We are also hoping to move back home to NM, so good luck to you! Everything changed when Leyla arrived, missing family and what not... Anyway, glad to see you're good!

hello there,.. my daughter will be 5 months on the 24th..where does the time go? it's good to hear im not the only one who gets annoyed.. haha...its human! i guess this is the age where they need to be constantly entertained and want to be held... i look forward to the day she goes in the playpen and entertains herself! my daughter has been sleeping 10-12 hours at night since she was 9 weeks,.im lucky for that! but her naps during the day are always inconsistent! good luck to you!

Even tho he doesnt really sleep durin the day, hes always happy to entertain himself so i dont hav 2b 24/7 entertainin him which is really gd!

It is MORE than obv. how much u love &care 4him, how proud u r of him... Myabe u jus need som more "u time"?

Im sorry to hear ur feelin this way... Unfortunately i cant really help 2much, the only time i felt like that w/ my son was wen i had PND. I absolutely CULD NOT stand 2hear/see him. But i started seein a counsellor n was put on anti-depres. meds and after a wk, we had Kaiden com bak home (he stayed w/ his Gran). Myabe u culd try talkin 2a counsellor?

Now tho, Kaiden is 21mth, he rarely sleeps durin the day but sleeps from 9:30pm-11:00am. Started sleepin thru the nite at 18wks.

Please don't feel like you're alone with your need for personal space I'm sure every mum/primary carer has felt the same at times You have to remember that basically babies take over your whole body and a fair bit of space around it LoL and that is sooooo overwhelming It's very obvious that you love him to pieces ( never really got that saying..mmmm)

It's great to see how much the other parents on here let you know they understand too

I feel you on the sleep schedule. Actually the thing about babies sleeping less during the day makes them sleep more at night is a myth. I think that babies sleep schedules will vary depending on their growth spirts. It is kind of frustrating actually. Just when you think they are gonna sleep throughout the night, they start waking up again. Isabel has done this occassionally-like month 4 and now again approaching month 6. BTW- We can't be a 24 hour entertainment system or we'd GO CRAZY!

i feel the EXACT same way girl!! my son jayden was born on Dec.6th so him and tadhg are fairly close in age. sometimes I just need a break too and have to pass him off. i swear I don't kno how the single ladies out thier do it!!! i can get jayden to sit in his exersaucer for a little while. i see that tadhg likes to stand up maybe he would like an exersaucer......
