I love this pony MORE then my 17HH EVENTER

This is a movie I made from video clips of me riding my old quarter horse X standardbred X arabian mare Moonshine.
She's only 14.2hh, and I'm nearly 6 foot, so I had to say goodbye :(
I got her 2 years ago as a green broke 6 year old, and we just clicked straight away :)
She was such a crazy little girl, I couldn't even tie her up to a post with out her circling, rearing, dancing or digging(yep you heard me, she used to try and escape the 'evil post' by digging).
She threw me off many times when I first got but it just made me love her even more.
She was so perfect for me.
Over the 2 years I had her we shared a bond :)
I could gallop her bareback and in a halter through the forest, well she'd still argue that we should keep going when I asked her to stop lol.
I swear she had a sense of humor..... she used to sneak up behind me and push me off the coral fence, and when I turned around to look at her face I swear she was smiling!
She got over the 'attacking the tethering post' and started untying herself.
What a cheeky girl :)
If I never got Moonshine then I wouldn't be anywhere near the rider I am today.
I wouldn't have been able to break in my new 17hh horse.
I love her so much. I really wish she was bigger :(

I think people underestimate the value of ponies.

Horses are easy to screw up and difficult to train by nature.

Ponies on the other hand seem to know what they're supposed to do and all of the tricks to get out of what they're supposed to be doing from the moment there's a saddle on their back. Ha and they make the best riders. No girl stuck on top of perfect framed up show ponies will ever become a good rider, just a pretty one, provided she isn't put on a challenging animal.

Ponies rule.
