I highlighted the 'main' styles, if we were to list all of the styles it would go on and on;- full contact (above waist), low kicks, k1, muay thai, savate (combat and assault versions), sanda/san-shou.
Now Fight Code has took over from K1 they have even modified the k1 rules slightly to allow 5 second clinch, not 3-second/one technique clinch... This is why kickboxing is in a bad way and will never rival boxing in popularity - too many versions.
Stay safe. DW

Full contact is a hell of a lot better than semi-contacts crap where the fight stops and starts every 3 seconds.
LCS, or Light Continous Sparring rules is fun, just like kickboxing but with only 80% power allowed. Quite fast.

Not to forget the 3 main styles of Full Contact Kickboxing - ie
National Rules - what you're doing on here
Int'l Rules - as above plus leg kicks
Muay Thai - Thai Boxing
There also modified Muay Thai, or K1 rules as it's better known.

why ?what are they?

yeah course if you can get the punch or kick that does it. There are 3 types of fighting in kickboxing; full contact which its name speaks for its self. light which is limited power and semi contact is points scoring where the fight is stop start after each point. No k.o in these two.
