There is an option to turn the volume on the hitsound down.

Type this into the console.

tf_dingaling_volume "0.2"

That's the value I use (the default is 0.75).

I don't like the degreaser very much. There are times when an M1 button is necessary and you want to be doing as much damage as possible to delay the enemy while their medic is healing everyone (or if you're lucky take out the medic with the afterburn).

@ganonvslink1000 to know if they are hitting people, i like to use it just to hear, im raining a lot of damage on them. when using pyro you just love the sounds of bells while your engulfing your enemies in flames.
