  • he speaks with confidence, you can tell hes a hard man, a man whos word you could trust. That is how gypsies used to be, not like most of them nowadays. . they used to help farmers and were seen as good workers, sadly now they dont have that same reputation

  • is he with jhon or sam?

  • Agree with some comments about confused about names an places dates in book. However i think this is Bartleys way of protecting others from unwanted attention brought about by his books, through carfull use of nicknames and travellers names for places..and having recognised so many photos can confirm genuine tale

  • They got his name up as BARTLEY BORMAN! What a insult! Borman was a NAZI & responsible for the deaths of travelling types.I do know that Romani & Irish are different breeds, but still travelling!

  • how come theres no videos of his fight?

  • Bartley Gorman is an irish mink not a romani gypsy

  • He was the last true king wasnt he...now days every paddy in Ireland claims to be lol

  • All you gypsies out there listen to me.. Never fetch a man to beat me BARTHOLOMEW GORMAN "KING OF EM ALL"

  • only wish he had fought lenny mcleans, both legends but apart from that bartley was a true gentleman god bless him and his family

  • maybe the greatest bareknuckle fighter of the last 100 years. a maneater but also a gentleman. read his book and loved it, he never made a penny from his fights (tho others made plenty) he did it purely for pride and to honor his heritage. as the saying goes, they don't make them like that anymore. r.i.p bartley, king of the gypsies

  • @leewilson23 it was just a little confusing to me because of all the names and dates of his fights, but im proud to say i have a copy on my shelves
