@sit081 it was easy to do, just make sure that you let it dry completely after you are done so the paint doesn't stick to the frame when you close the door. We used Red Delicious from Glidden. it looks kinda pink when you start, but gets red when it dries.
Inside "nooks and crannies" should be painted first - before panels/rails or stiles!
