I don't mean to sound ignorant, but before I saw the video, I just thought this was a melancholy song. The video really shows the emotion behind the lyrics, telling a really sad story in an amazing song. Awesome.

plus: out-of-this world acting and directing. letting some of the environmental sounds but not all of them through was great, and this actor had me by the heartstrings.
criticism: i can't decide whether i wish they had backed the story up a little more or whether it started in the right place. i feel like i didn't get the full effect of the guy's de-evolution.
that all being said...wow. excellent. can't wait to see what the next video is.
