A short and to the point review of the SteriPen fits all filter. This filter retails for around $15 and works essentially the same way as a cloth pre filter would work. It is a great piece of gear simply because it allows you to easily filter water into any type of bottle, no matter what type of neck it has. For $15 I recommend the filter to anyone who plans to use still, dirty water to drink from on the trail. Thanks for watching!

  • wow dude sorry people are such asses i thouhgt you did a great review

  • @KyleChickPhoto Thank you for the support, and thanks for checking it out!

  • Hey man, thanks for the review, because of yours and other vids I decided to get this device and not a ceramic filter for out in the wild cause the latter doesn't treat virus while the steripen does. Crikey, i hope I got that right...! Love ya work, keep it up.

  • @norsco272 Thanks for the support and kind words! Hope the filter and steripen are working out for you!

  • You dont care if you contaminate by NOT wiping any drops off before screwing the lid on... ???.

Steripen only works on the water INSIDE the bottle... Not on the OUTSIDE as the plastic reflects the UV light... !!!.

  • @JanHuniche I think its safe to say most people know the UV does not go through plastic. If it did, the steripen would be harmful to your skin. I'm sure its very hard to see but I drank from a dry side. Thanks for your comment.

  • Ya for sure i know the man who invented the stariPEN i live about 2 miles away from him which is jsut kinda cool. Also im headed to costa rica in a few days and i relised i didn know how to use one thanks for your help.

  • @waypoint12xl There was no "F***ing manual" to read. It was simply the box and the filter.

  • You could've RTFM first before making the video. Still, kudos for the effort. =)

  • very interesting. Thanks for sharing and be safe out there.
