The evidence for psi is beyond a reasonable doubt. Meta analysis is very, very strong- even taking into account the 'file drawer' effect. Science tends to change one funeral at a time- people are just unwilling and perhaps unable to change their habits of mind. Skeptics, when faced with the evidence, merely move the goalposts.

Im mean claiming something without an independent scientific observer is meaningless..well all saw how Peter Popoff, Uri Geler and countless others are proven to be frauds once someone with an analytical observation was allowed to study their claims ! Guessing which sister of 3 was calling is nothing.. knowing who is calling out of a phonebook of 100 or 200 and get 50% might mean something !

The post I responded to claimed it *doesn't* say that-- it is absolutely and undeniably true that the video says what it says. Now, you mean to imply that the video/Sheldrake is or may be lying, but it is also true that all of these trials are systematically documented, and at least some of them are videotaped. Sheldrake has amassed an enormous body of experimental evidence in favor of the existence of telepathy; if all you can do is flippantly imply fraud, your position is pretty weak.

He has certain requirements that prevent people faking the test. These things are up front and can be worked out before hand. I could imagine people sometimes insist on conditions that would let them cheat.

I love James Randi and Sheldrake but it is true that Randi has prevented people from taking the test.

Well, Sheldrake said he does. Obviously Randi has a lot of applicants and doesn't have time to test them all. Sheldrake talks about this in another interview. In any case, you are obviously happy with your understanding of life. Those of us with more curious minds will continue learning. Peace.

It's just a cop out, Randi doesn't prevent people taking the test. I've heard of this excuse before.
