Do not let ever to come to the end

Further more, May 21st 2011:
that translation is just as bad. Try this. "My G-d, my G-d, let these things never end. The sand and the sea. The rush of the waters. The lightning in the heavens. The prayer of mankind. The sand and the sea. The rush of the waters. The lightning in the heavens. The prayer of mankind.

  • @AdamG319 my dear, I gave my best and I am thankful for all of your comments, but that simply isn't my native language and I could only include your comment in the description. Thank you for your contribution. @:)

  • Is this prayer part of some Psalm? If you know, please let me know. I've been listening to it for a few days, the voice and the translation of the words deeply touched my heart.

  • @moineau15 The answer is now in the Description of the video. @;)

  • It is not part of a prayer it is a song written by a courageous woman called Hannah Senesh [my spelling is likely to be wrong] she wrote this when in captivity

  • I love this song so much! Thanks for posting this! Shabbat shalom!

  • Dude...Awsome version of this song! I can`t believe she`s not Isreali, she speaks it so perfectly. Beautiful....Simp-ly beautiful. She should come to Israel. I`ll go see her.

  • Even though I am not herbrew or Jewish, this song will remain with me for my life...it's very beautiful and symbolic

  • Печали, кульминации.

  • Thank you very much !

  • My God .... this touched my heart so hard. So very beautiful .... just .... everything about it. I'm actually crying, wow

  • @AdamG319 That translation may be literal, but the one I've always heard (granted it holds poetic license) goes like this:

Oh Lord, my God! I pray that these things never end.

The sand and the sea! The rush of the water! The crash of the heavens! The prayer of man. (2x)

  • @Astonkke -Thank you for this clarification. It certainly tells it all She was truly a hero who chose her destiny for the love of her people and all that was right for mankind. She will always remain in our hearts.May she forever RIP

  • Beautiful. I've never heard this before, but it seems she does it very well.

  • THANKS

  • a very strong song
