"You! Turn off the google!"
You man, make some hilarious videos... If it wasn't for the seriously sad undertones it couldv'e been real fun. It is difficult to believe this country is for real...

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for these videos! After the death of Kim Jong Il I was very interested to North Korea and their way of living and trying to lie to the rest of the world. The thing I like about these videos is that they are a shot with a bit of humour as opposed to other videos out there. Once again thanks and good luck on your future journeys. :)
(Don't mind spelling errors I'm Dutch)
Why do they call north korea a socialistic paradise? It's apparently a totalitarian dictatorship in which the masses get brainwashed and revolutionaries are deterred with capital punishment and torture, while all external information gets blocked out. How is that putting focus on socialism or a paradise for socialism.

@ac1th Well, that's the running joke. China, Soviet Union, Cambodia, Vietnam... Dozens of others were all called "socialist" but they were/are essentially doing the same thing. In order to get to socialism or communism, you need a massive turnover in the way a country is running, which at the same time exposes the place to the megalomaniac, sociopathic "leaders". These great leaders have emerged in every self-described "worker's paradise". It just doesn't work...
