Whos Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf (A Taylor Lautner Fanfic) Ch.58 FINALE 2 - Fight For This Love

The minute I splashed into water, reality hit me even harder. Even though I did not fall a very great height, that that was not a very big deal compared to the crisis I was in. The water was cold, and I mean very cold. On top of that, the current was very swift.

Everyone would tell you that in such a situation it's easier to swim parallel to the shore. Still I tried swimming towards the shore, despite knowing better. The biggest problem was the fact that the water was relentless. It didn't change it's speed just because I was struggling.

Bobbing in and out of water, I heard one splash. Then another.

"Oh no, she didn't" I thought. I was not concerned with the fact that the boulders underneath me could easily break my limbs, but with the fact that Natalia had jumped in. The water was cold enough and she just got better.

I was trying my best to stay afloat, but the water splashing over me did not comply. I tried to take in air but kept on gulping water. I could see blackness creep in the corner of my eyes every time I went under the water.

A pair of hands caught one of my arm and tried tugging me. "Come on Taylor. Don't giver up. SWIM!"

To my surprise another set of hands caught on to me. The unfamiliar hands tugged on to me and I heard a whisper, "I'm doing this for her," and then a louder voice, "SWIM!"

I tried hard to swim, but I was exhausted. My legs felt like boulders and arms felt limp. Darkness started creeping in again, and that's the last thing I remember.

I'd always thought that heaven would be a peaceful place to wake up to, but I woke up with a jolt, coughing out water at the same time. I could hear some one say, "Thank God that worked." At the same time, I heard another person heave a sigh of relief.

Natalia helped me up and I kissed her.

I looked up to see Nathaniel stand a few feet away, looking everywhere than at our direction. "Thanks dude. I owe you one," I said, truly meaning it.

As he started walking away I spoke up again, "Come on dude. Stop being such a sissy about all of this. You saved me. I owe you. It's between you and me. Natalia's not involved at all."

He stopped and turned around, "I.." he said having trouble with coherency, "I should never have come between you guys. I should go."

For the first time I spoke to him with actual respect, "Look Nate, if I were you, I'd do the same thing. No bad blood."

Natalia gave Nathaniel an understanding smile. Poor girl! She was caught between two people who were never going to give up.

" I wouldn't have till she went all Xena the warrior princess on me," he gestured at Natalia who started giggling. "What was I supposed to do? One minute Tay looked like he was going to kill you and the other he was re enacting New Moon."

We all start laughing. All this seemed awfully filmy, just like everything else in our lives.
"Are you guys coming?" Nate asked as he started his journey back.

"In a bit," I nodded.

As I saw his figure disappear amongst the branches and trees, I turned around and kissed Natalia again. We cuddled, totally oblivious to the fact that we both were drenched. As the sun started setting, only 4 words escaped from my mouth.

"I love you, Natalia."
