DOES ANYONE EVER READ THIS?

First of all let me say there aren't many women bold enough to let the world see them at their most natural state so I would say 5 stars for that but youtube got rid of the star system :-(

I am NOT a cosmetologist so if I made errs then you know why but either way my process works for me and my hair type so only constructive criticism please! Also, if you are unsure of your ability to relax your own hair...DON'T! Leave it to a professional becuz I would hate to be the person you blame for your hair falling out. ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I'd like not to read comments from the "Pro Natural" people who feel the need to justify their life choices by condemning others. You guys can be like Vegans sometimes! My comforting words to my soul sisters & brothers who feel like I've crossed over because I relaxed my hair: My hair does not make me black. My soul is a birth right that has been handed down from generations of beautiful black women and men and I never have to look to define my heritage by the texture, length or color of my hair but rather by the love, diginity and power of my family.

Lastly this is an old vid from 2009 that I forgot to upload due to a back up in videos at the time. I found it and I figured I'd upload since my black hair care videos seem to do well. Hope you enjoy & appreciate my selflessness!!!

  • do you think a relaxer can work on my hair im hispanic and i have really curly hair

  • @GATITA7165 it'll work fine on your hair, most hispanic I know tend to relax their curly hair straight.

  • Do you ever clip you ends because they are really bad? If you would clip them after you r relaxer you hair would look much better. Also I had a client that uses those same products on her hair and her hair was extremely rough in texture because of the calcium buildup from the no-lye. I changed her to a professional relaxer and its getting back on track.

  • @FAITHFULT ok

  • Creamy Crack....I wisht this stuff was never invented there are ways to straighten your hair w/o going to this extreme.

  • @simone23803 you forgot to read the info box

  • I agree with the comments about respecting a person's choice to do what they want with their hair. I'm also curious as to why women who wear their natural are even watching a video about relaxing. I'm proud of those who've chosen to go natural but please respect those of us who have not.

  • @simone23803 Creamy Crack are you serious? there are plenty of women who use relaxers that have hair down to their hips. Glad you got what works for you, but can we please be a little more mature. Some like natural hair and others like relaxed. In my opinion calling it Creamy Crack would be the same if I came to a natural video and called someone's hair nappy or any other word that would bring insult. I say let every woman do what makes her feel good about her hair.

  • @MisterBeaucoup If you do it right, or go get it done professionally you will be fine

  • round of applause!! I love your video but i ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR COMMENT MORE!!!! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO! :)

  • @MisterBeaucoup it would be risky, I'm White too (just curious about black hair:P) and I've heard of your hair is isn't afro you dont need the relaxer and it will just damage your hair more, it may even fall out:/

  • @MisterBeaucoup

you should probably try wen hair products

  • I'm a white girl, but my hair is a mess. I've tried leave-in conditioner and hairspray, but I can't get rid of the frizz. I've tried this grease-like stuff before, but it made my hair too stringy and oily. I've been tempted to try some relaxer, but I worry it might damage my hair. Do you think it'd be safe to try??

  • GASP!!!! I saw you scratch your head!!! its going to burn!!

  • Ur hair looks nice

  • i got a nappy for... will this work 4 me lol???

  • I really like how you relaxed your hair. I just don't know why you put rollers in if you brush them out? Does that make the hair look better? I'm not a professional or anything I'm just trying to figure out how to do my hair. I can't spend $200 at a salon in this recession. And what do I do if I don't have the dryer you sit under? Oh and I like your description.

  • Classy101akasassy r u serious i kno more bout hair then all u nd im 13
