You video is not correct. Once the pilot pickles the weapon off. Once it is released from the lugs it has the distance from the band holding the ears down to the back of the fin to pull through the band release. Once the wire is pulled out the distance of approx 3" the fin opens. How do I know? I was a weapons mechanic in the US Air force & we loaded a enough weapons equipped with this kind of fin. Coarse, the regular tail fin assembly were what we loaded a lot of.

Magnifique vidéo et super jolie tir =)
Je pilote sur Wing Over Europe et avec les A-6 et A-10 je me régale avec les Snake, c'est vraiment une super bombe.
En tout cas bravo et merci pour cette super vidéo !!!

Rhah mais pourquoi je l'ai pas vu plus tôt celle-là ? Je crois bien que c'est ma préférée parmi toutes tes vidéos ! :-) Surement à cause du A-10 & de Muse... ;-)
