Really good one! simple and safe. I was looking for the electric hoist, but I am concerned about the safty mechanism and issue and found many of them didn't have them. when you are disabled, you don;t want to be hang in the mid-air or drop down to floor. Could you send me details to zebra10001000@yahoo.com. Much thanks

That is a wonderful, intelligent idea. I always wanted a cheap, power free and adjustable/flexible alternative lift for my wheel chair world. I think I got it.Could you please send me the details. Kindly treat this as urgent.

Simply brilliant! Genius! Human power whenever possible! Good thing you didn't use an electric motor and chain hoist, I've heard of a horror story because the motor cut off switch failed.

excellent design. Is there any chance you could send me the details of how it was made.

why don't you put a 2hp (1 horse / person) gearless machine w/ brakes in there?
it would be much comfortable to move...
