The High Court Enforcement Officer was not kicking the protester in an act of mindless thuggery but was, as we have said following our own investigation, trying to free his leg from the grip of the protestor. These are highly charged and tense events, but this is an eviction site and this is what our officers are highly trained to deal with. The officer dealt with the situation with professional impassivity, the protester did not report an injury and no complaint was made to the police.

  • I can be an official witness to this if anybody is investigating (please rate my comment so it gets spotted) the guy was not doing his job proffessionally at all.

  • Disgraceful, just wish they had got a picture of his face, or just given him a good kicking back.
