  • I will never inadvertently shoot myself and have given much thought on how to avoid an accidental discharge.

Pulling the trigger is NOT an involuntary action while handling a firearm.

I am of sound mind and conscience and know when to apply pressure to the trigger and when not to.

I could carry a loaded gun in my hands for an eternity and never once accidentally fire the weapon.

Confidence and awareness are my ultimate safety.

Thank you for your input, despite the hostility you expressed.

  • Name calling is not nice or very mature.

If you are encouraging me to shoot differently, I appreciate your advice and will consider its value.

I enjoy target shooting in a safe location.

No backstop does not guarantee an accident waiting to happen when what is beyond my target is open space and dense forest for miles.

Just how far do you expect a bullet to travel when fired toward trees from 4 feet above the ground?

Gravity does have its place and big trees do stop bullets.

  • Normally I would agree, but with the angle of attack considered, I don't think its really needed, because it's just going into the ground or tree from that angle.

***No one can ever say "never". Everyone never has a ND until they do

Pulling the trigger is NOT an involuntary action while handling a firearm.

*** Actually, it CAN BE. Get some proper training because sneezing, stress, loud noises, running, surprises even farting can cause you to involuntarily squeeze the trigger.

  • No we dont qualify because no one wants them, we have better things to do....... ok dipshit

  • Parislanes, go fist your mother. And yes I know I didn't make a very intelligent comment but does an idiotic statement such as yours deserve one? I think not.

  • LOL nice "target shooting" i hope you can hit stuff from 10 feet

  • Learn to draw your weapon...

Look up "Presentation or Drawing your Handgun" by Slagman5.

You fight how you train so you should train how you fight...

  • Never mind the fuckin skippy. He's just jealous because he obviously doesn't qualify to carry a firearm in Australia.
