  • Do you have the original video in full length?

just is you don't mind, I've found some interesting things I could learn from you, but this is too sped up. Just if you don't mind, I would just want to see this in full length. Or if you can't or don't want to upload it anywhere, would you just upload the planet creation part, specifically, how did you do the city lights?

  • @webname05 actually yeah, i can upload the full length vids to sendspace or somewhre similar, because it would proabably take forever to upload them here xD ill send you a link through da

a tutorial that is awsome and about planet creation is "the grand planet tutorial". it will appear among the first results if you search for it on da

the citylights were simply painted with a scattered brush having the layer mode to color dodge (the layer have to be plain black other than the light to work).

  • What software are you using to record this. I've wanted to make videos like this but didn't know what to use to record photoshop

  • @SinnfullDuck i used Expression Encoder 4 Pro screen capture. It works very well

  • @eatenwaffle Yea could you send me a link to the full length video, i feel theres alot to learn in this video

  • @eatenwaffle If you'd upload it on rapidshare or something like that, it would be awesome.

I actually read 'The Grand Planet Tutorial', but in that time, I couldn't understand half the things and couldn't do right the other half, so I'll re-read it xD

And after my computer finishes rendering some fractals (that's about in 20 hours) I'll try those color dodge citylights, thanks for the tip! ;)
