Five Minutes For Gilad Shalit

We are now approaching the 5 year mark, since Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on Israeli soil. Gilad was 19 years old at the time, and no one has seen him (not even the Red Cross) in person, since.

In March 2011, a special demonstration was held around the world, called '5 Minutes For Gilad Shalit'. People came out into the streets and brought life to a standstill for 5 minutes, to remember the 5 years Gilad has been in captivity.

Let us all pray Gilad will finally come home, safe and sound!

If half the Christians of the world stopped and prayed for one minute a day for the release of Gilad Shalit he would be released in a few days time. Many have kind thoughts toward various causes but few actually take the time to pray with all their hearts for an answer. Stop and pray.
