Is there something related to the book except for the names? Poor movie, poor scenario end poor actors. So I agree with the previous comments you guys wrote. It's a shame!!!
I read this book and for me it was so sad great and amazing...I loved the first 2...the books and the movies. But, this movie did nothing for me it was a horrible portrayal of the book. Poor Maddy. And the actors were so wrong for this movie. The original cast should have finished this and the script should have been close to the book like the first 2. What a shame.

I tried so hard to watch this one and enjoy it as I did the first two, but I couldn't. Where is Paula's accent? The whole thing just did nothing for me.
@mrsspanner14 I haven't read this particular book, but I know what you mean dreadfully Americanized and very 90's tacky. Also I saw the date on Emma's Grave say 1971 ( which would fit with the books but not the previous mini series "Hold The Dream which was set in 1986). What about her previous children with Jim too, pity it wasn't the original Shane as well.
to be the Best is worse of Emma Harte series ´s book for being very sad but the film, did not have absolutely nothing to see with the book and also was a disappointment.I

Good grief, could they have changed the story any more? It bears no relation to the book at all!
