Yes, they do. I lost 5 teammates from bullet splatter... And a windshield. :)

Actually, when lead bullets (or even jacketed ones) hit a flat solid surface (such as a steel plate) the splatter tends to fly paralelly to the plate. But we still wear eye protection and keep the plates at a safe distance.

I just shot this classifier in 5.05 seconds. I placed 4th place in the match in this stage.
