@Stagrad Actually , it is the chemotherapy , which tries to kill the cancer , that makes the hair fall out .

Never saw Trial of a Time Lord but I remember reading in DW magazine back in the mid/late 90s that Nicola Bryant wanted Peri killed off but the audience felt that it was a harsh ending to her character. So Peri somehow survived the attack and married Brian Blessed's character!

When she was on here, the actress had her hair cut to above her shoulders and later grew it out. This is the last episode with her. This was a Colin Baker 6th doctor episode. She probably has nice lookin feet too.

No...some (if not all) of the medical treatment makes the hair fall out, so to speed up the process, they get it shaved off.
