1993 Mazda RX7 with engine swap to 1JZ-GTE single turbo. She made 415 whp / 395wtq --- 19psi on pump gas 93 octane.This video shot with windows down. SORRY this is not the best "track" for high speeds - so please just put your best headphones on and enjoy the audio more than anything --- BOOOOST. ; - P

Sounds good, friend. I've got a 2JZ-GE NA-T setup in my '94 FD. Swapped over to the coil-pack system of the GTE motor though, so now I'm having to have it re-wired. Got eeeeeeeeverything else though, so you'll be seeing it on YouTube soon enough! Till then, keep up the good work.

@elbowgreasey I've got a 1jz 95' FD aswel. It's extremely fast but i think the engine is too heavy for the car the disturbs the power to weight ratio of the original car. im currently running it on 17 psi and im having bigtime traction probs. Even though i have coilovers and other things trying to keep the car balanced, i still have traction issues in every gear. as soon as the turbos start boosting, the rear end tails out . i jst got the car a week back so im still trying to get the hang of it

@catsbeen - @catsbeen - she can get loose in the rear --- but for me i don't blame the weight of the 1JZ. Research shows it plus R154 tranny vs LSx + tranny isn't that giant a weight difference -- 100 - 150lbs IIRC. My car has 265 rear tires and gets loose easy with less than 1/2 tank of gas. But what can i expect from a lightweight car with 415whp / 395wtq ? Its gonna get squirlly!! I don't track the car - so maybe 49/51 balance is lost -- but personally isn't a bother for me. :)

@elbowgreasey true... im still trying to get the hang of it but it really is fun to drive after you know how much the rear end will spin while accelerating. besides, the car needed some alignment and some other work after which the handling improved.... love the FDs!

Shits quick, normally I would have a go at you for pulling out the 13B, but with a 1JZ it's acceptable. Sounds so much meaner than the 2JZ.
