  • Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the Sephardic-Yerushalmi musical cantillation. In this, and in his other videos, he is perfectly in tune. He would only seem out of tune to someone accustomed to the Ashkenazic trope. If you listen to his chanting of Az Yashir, this should be abundantly clear. He is far from tone deaf and actually has a great ear for music!

  • I am slightly familiar with the Sephardic trope and this was absolutely beautiful (and adorable too :-).

  • It's absolutely amazing he can memorize all the aliyot in his previous videos...unfortunately he cannot carry a tune. This "tone-deaf" syndrome will carry with him his whole life...enjoy the ride while your still young!!!
