  • @farneymusik You don't really need a Mark Hoppus bass or an Ampeg. All you need is a precision-style bass with some good pickups (preferably at least the same pickups as Mark's bass, which is Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups), with new strings (as in, less than two months old), as well as a good amp, with your settings so that the bass and treble are decently higher than your mids. That's how to get a Mark Hoppus tone, in a nutshell!
