A new song i have written
Shutting my eyes in search of sleep
Toss and turning like the raging sea
waves from which direction no one seems to know
thats why i venture out on my own

whos that man standing in those shoes
whos that man broken and bruised
whos that man standing by a strand
that man is me

with eyes wide open staring back at me
trying to focus on that which i see
all you want from me is who you want to be
but all i have to give is whats inside of me

staring at this mirror, trying to recognize
the problems that i run from, problems i cant hide
when questions go unanswered, ill seek till i find
this person ive become, i dont recognize.
