This a step by step walk through in setting up a client bridge and repeater bridge using DD-WRT firmware on both routers I have WRT54GS v.7 as primary and WRT54GS v.5 as secondary as for firmware I am alway updating my firmware
Working on a 1.84km bridged link. Decided to use DD-WRT & the Linksys routers instead of spending $1000+ on Cisco equipment. If it works well I will be doing it several more times in different directions. Thanks for the video.
Very well done! Thanks!

Perfect tutorial. Follow the instructions step by step, meanwhile pressing the pause key.
When confuring the router as a repeater bridge, wait some additional minutes before it works.

With the wireless routers you have in the video, how far can they be apart and still get a good signal? and will the speed be compromised in any way?
Thanks

Thanks for your help. I had to change the settings of my 1st router, it may not work on automatic channel, it didn't work for me.
So I've selected a random channel. 9 for me, and followed your steps and it WORKED.
Thanks again man
