This a step by step walk through in setting up a client bridge and repeater bridge using DD-WRT firmware on both routers
I have WRT54GS v.7 as primary and WRT54GS v.5 as secondary
as for firmware I am alway updating my firmware

    so your second router will take the wireless signal of the first router and produce a wireless signal of its own?

    It will not produce its own wireless signal, it will only extend the first routers signal.

    ty, i was wondering how you get to one ip address for a long time, now since ive done it, is there anyway how to block websites? bc the restrictions not working to me..

    here's my setup: linksys>Airport Extreme>Airport Express>Internet

    before today/video: linksys (2 ip networks)>Airport Extreme>comcast wireless assoka>Internet

    Linksys went by static of 10.0.2.1 while Extreme went by 10.0.1.1

    anyway to restrict keywords & websites by going throu your step? i mac my bro's ipod from youtube.

    I was in the process of moving to a temporary home then to a new home. Used this both times to configure router. Awesome and easy works perfectly. I did have DD-WRT v24-sp2. Saving and applying settings is a little different. Found out you need to SAVE all changes before you click apply settings when all is done.
