The UKTI Japan team has maintained its presence in Tokyo and Osaka throughout the aftermath of the 11 March earthquake. One thing that is obvious to us from our conversations with our contacts, is the determination from Japan to move forward and for companies to get back to business. We are monitoring impacts across sectors and can advise you on your approach to the Japanese market.
Sir Paul Smith gave this message about getting back to business.
Thank you very much for warm messages for Japan. It encourages us a lot !

@cokeisgood111 LOL What the bloody hell are you talking about! read not just headlines but articles themselves.
Most of the aftershocks are as small as ones you would experience anytime when in Japan, tsunami warnings were issued only on 7th 8th and 11th of april for those most devastated areas, and water is safe - bring out your radioactivity checker with you and you'll find it useless in Tokyo.
Visit midnight los angeles is much more dangerous than tokyo id say!

no way i think going to japan right now is like a death trap. people even in tokyo are getting lots of aftershocks almost daily and there are still tsunami warnings everywhere, plus the radioactivity in the food and even bottled water. japan is probably the least safest place you can go at this time.

Great work. Opportunities abound in Japan still. As the man himself puts it..."Come to Japan".
