So, I've got a question: is any of the stuff you do uncomfortable or painful? Like this, or anything in the "Chaotic death/grind vocals" vid or whatever? Cuz it sounds like an ACTUAL scream in those vids, rather than some sort of vocal fry.

the growls im doing in these past 2 vids are uncomfortable when im sick and have a lot of mucus, you may have noticed i had to stop for a moment in one of them, because i was about to hawk up some phlegm. allergies are wrecking my sinuses lately. mucus makes it so i cant do these as well as i normally can.

those growls never get painful, but some other things i do can irritate my throat if i do them too loud for too long. like, as powerful as i can for hours. you just have to moderate yourself. i used to cough when i tried the vocal fry growls at first, because they tickled the throat, but that is no more.
