10 Feet Project is a Non-Profit Organization began in 1980.

The intention of this organization is to raise funds through donations from citizens of Hiroshima to purchase film footage shot by US government in Hiroshima a the time of nuclear bomb then produce films utilizing these footages, show these films all over the world to let people understand the cruelty of war.

The cost of purchasing these films from U.S. Library of Congress was 10 feet per 3,000 yen therefore, the organization urged citizens to donate 3000 yen each so each person can purchase 10 feet of film.

In 1982, 10 Feet Project completed purchasing all films shot in Hiroshima by U.S. government and begun producing documentary films utilizing these footages.

Since then 10 Feet Project has produced three award winning documentary films and held the screening all over Japan.

@Supdude1964 cant agree more with you the fact is people ignore that Japan initiated the attack and Japan was like Germany as it wanted total domination over Asia and Americas they are the ones who started it and there treatment was appalling with some troop guilty of cannibalism the people themselves had a very socialistic culture the Japan today is thanks to the U.S who had occupied them and rehabilitated them from their racism which is still in Japan with native groups like Ainu suffering

the music at 7:00 is reminiscent of John Carpentar's "The Thing" in 1982. The part where they viewed the body that was brought back by the search team. The music is the same...creepy..

By 1945, Japanese military was practically wiped out. If the didn't drop the A-bombs, and went ahead and invaded the Japanese home islands, there would of been unimaginable causualties on BOTH sides. Russia would invade from the north, and America from the south and west. My grandmother, who is Japanese, alont with other children, sharpened bamboo sticks with intents of trying to kill off the enemies if they invaded. It would of been the destrucation of a nation.

I like how the title says No More Hiroshima & Nagasaki! If The USA wouldn't have been drawn inot WW2 in the first place by the attack on our military & civilians in Hawaii this would not have occurred! But now that it has been done everyone says USA = Big Tyrant! Don't attack The USA and live in peace! And because the USA and its political correctness has made us the laugh of the world, we have made no one pay for 9/11!

innocent people? they followed a flawed god-king to their deaths. why waste half a million american lives invading a nation that started the war with an unprovoked attack? the two nuclear weapons that were dropped on japan were well placed, but i would have gone for the nations capital. and they dont start wars anymore, do they?
