University of Florida's Afro-Cuban ensemble, Fundamento Rumbero, performing a tonada Trinitaria. This is a nearly-extinct form of music played in the town of Trinidad in central Cuba since the mid 1800s.

thank you for the video !! this rhythm is great , and there are few bands that still playing it in trinidad ,cuba . i talked with the one of the last tonada singers in trinidad , cuba . and he is afraid that it will be disappear. so great to see that the tonada still on !!!
