On this date in 1958 {Jan. 27th} "Short Shorts" entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it would peaked at No. 3 and spent a total of 16 weeks in the Top 100!!!

@PonyGirlDrafter I don't understand how the amount of skin a woman shows has anything to do with how much respect she has for herself. It's not just nonsensical, it's incredibly backward and insulting. I for one respect myself enough not to let other people's ridiculous opinions dictate how I dress.
