@Jewcymidget Not sure... can't find anything of them doing Walking Away live. The bass intro is really difficult and so is the trumpet solo/duet with trombone - maybe that's why?
-
how come they never play this and Walking Away live? :c

@ownagepie24 When I went to see them back in July, Tomas mentioned Pete about 3 times while they were doing their set.

I love both versions. This one is more fun to play on the guitar because it's unique and a bit easier. Still, the original is awesome and I love listening to it. Anyone else think this would make a good BOTAR song? A full sting quartet version of Canon in a ska song. Also it might be a partially practical thing that Pete just chills in the back. Some of the stuff he plays is really intricate, so it would probably be really easy for him to get distracted, but still...

i like this tempo better than the original, it's more laidback

@47zencreative Because (sadly) Pete McCullough doesn't get much attention in the band. He plays the least noticeable instrument, he's always off to the side, and he never really talks much. The only time I heard many people mention him was during the Ship of Fools: Odds and Ends when he was (temporarily) by Pierre St. Paul.

freaking love the beat here... funky as hell!

@erasetoimprove They both have their merits, I love this one you can really feel the beat and makes me bob along to it, The faster version makes me break into a run whenever i hear it, and i can't skip it once i start, cause it's got me in it's spell.

i like that they are kind of "underground"ish that way retarted scene kids wont ruin them for me.
