If it wasn't for the Blue Jay's beautiful plumage, these birds would be considered a pest as they are bold and aggressive at the feeders and are very noisy throughout the day. They are also very intelligent birds with many different calls and have even been known to mimic human speech. They are generally found in Eastern and Central Canada and United states and can adapt to city life or woodland areas. They can often be spotted throughout most of their habitat year round.
