I think it's wonderful. It almost looks ugly and pointless, but the natural gigantic phenomena of waterfall pulls it back and kind of belittles the human construction of thought (and scaffolding) behind it. I wonder what children make of it? I think it takes some suspension of logic, it is art not science after all.

what is the point of the water fall, I know its all for looks tho, well i guess thats about it

I thought they were OK. I didn't care much for the ugly scaffolding. I like the idea of a huge fake man made waterfall in the middle of a city.

When there are no more natural waterfalls left, and/or they are all "privately owned", we can always get this dude to make a faux-waterfall for all us poor slobs.

I really don't think something like
The Brooklyn Bridge Waterfall really somehow improves The Brooklyn Bridge,
Whenever I'm up in New York I always love walking across The Brooklyn Bridge to get an idea of it's scale and it's history as a suspension bridge. Adding a waterfall under it seems pointless IMHO, How about we do some other things like get NYC out of this recession it's in and finish work
at Ground Zero before we get into scenic waterworks?
