  • What a load of bollocks ... you could tell that Maori bloke was hating it.

  • we catch any yanks up there we'll use em for bait.

  • if u think that kahawi are bait then u wud b right but if u saw the yellowtail kingfish or kingi we fishos call it u wudda been like holy sht! that thing of the rocks and plus they dident catch any snapper so u havent really seen true nz fishing yet... try great barrier island out then comment on using kawai on bait. especially when they are as long as your arm and as fat as your thy!

  • @way2nortee awww, really? your my hero hotshot

  • @singleporter haha for sure, a king would probably pull that unsuspecting yank off the rocks!

  • @Gsp121 Yes Thats What It Said.

  • "Fishing the way the Maori do it"?

I didn't see any hand lines with a big bag of weed and a swap-a-crate anywhere in that vid. They'd have been better chucking those KY under a balloon and hooking into that 5ft kingi and handing the rod over to the yank for some real Northland fishing action.

  • this is the worst NZ fishing video ive seen! They catch some Kingy bait and and call that a big deal? What a load of crap.

  • its not a true salmon, its actually from the perch family. but when the settlers came, it looked like a salmon so thats why its called a salmon. well thats one of the theory.

    is that what you're wondering?
