This is mine and my husbands song. We just broke up and I woke up in the middle of the night crying and feeling lost. Wrote a letter goodbye and ended it with "you can't waste your life wishing upon a star.." Hit you tube and there it was. I feel better and I stopped crying. Thanks John..

Fun, reading all of the Jon Butcher stories. I have always been a rabid music dude, especially when I was younger. I was always looking for something new. There was a store in Shirley NY called McCrory's, when I was 13, I used to play handball behind the store. I went inside and they had a bin of cassettes for 10 cents a piece. I had a dollar, so I bought 10 tapes. Wishes was one of them, and I loved it...still do. 10 years later I found another JB tape at a flea market for 50 cents. I'm lucky.

@MrDavid5150larson Right on, bro. I was on the Vinson. Same battle group, if not mistaken. I think I still have my "Wishes" cassette down in the bowels of my garage somewhere. Ain't got a player, and I doubt it would work if I did. Youtube is great for stuff like this. AudioHijack is an AWESOME tool. ;)
