  • does this box support a switch sensor for my destroyer cause i heard it has a built in kick box

  • It does not. See the Kick box works in reverse. Meaning that it takes a real drum trigger with a real drum sensor, and converts it to a signal the RB kit understands. The Destroyer is already made to talk to the RB kit.

  • Do you know any good and cheap drum brains for the ION Drum Rocker kit?

  • The cheapest and best one is the Ion pro kit upgrade. Gives you a cymbal, kickpad, pedal, brain and all the wires. You can look at it ar rock band parts. URL is listed in the video info

  • I have a Pintech Concert Cast E-kit. Just look up pintech since cannot leave links here:)

  • thats just a lot of cables :S just for playing a game

  • I'm planning to buy an Alesis DM6 Kit. Will the J5 work with it? Will I still need to add a KickBox in order for the bass pedal to work in the game?

  • Does anyone know if a Ion Ied05 kit would work with this?

  • I love my electronic drum set :D

So I convinced my dad to get this for me :D

    SWEET

  • No because the HD-1's pads are all connected to one plug, they arent individual, it wont work

  • hi... ive got a roland hd1... could i use it with the xbox360 buying a J5???

  • Well, if you already have an electronic drum set videorule08, then i'd definiatly get the J5.

  • Not true. You never have to add a professional brain to the Ions if you choose not too. This demo actually have me using my real kit which is what this J5 device was for. He has since made one just for the ION with the inputs to hook in a drum brain at the same time if you want or need to.

  • J5 box is just a box. not the drums.

Goodwoods are the most inexpensive and work great.

and only buy the ion if you want to play it on a proffessional brain and play rockband

  • hey cena i want your opinion on this. i broke 3 rock band drum kits wondering if i should get ions, goodwoods, J5 box, or upgrade my DTXplorer to a roland TD12
